Cultural Awareness Week 2010 
This week we will be exploring a little country with a big personality--Lithuania! Each lesson consists of a YouTube video, conveniently linked to the school website--plus a worksheet (MTW), souvenir (Th), or taste-test experience (F). Please allow for 15-20 minutes each day. We hope everyone will enjoy this supplement to the curriculum.
Throughout the week: in Art class students will create a woven school project, and in P.E. Mr. Gorski will revisit Lithuania’s favorite sport--basketball! Also, do visit the Library display case and Parish Center bulletin board for more visuals.

Visiting Concert
To Enrich our Cultural Awareness Week the Choir Tour of Visitation School from Mendota Heights, Minnesota treated our school to a 1 hour production singing songs from around the world and ending with a little Pop music. The Visitation Choir consisted of 7th and 8th graders and the Pop choir were the 8th grade girls. Enjoy the music.
