Seventh and Eighth Grade Math

Seventh and Eighth grade students have two Math spiral notebooks, one for homework, and one for in-class note-taking. Math homework, in-class assignments, quizzes and tests should be completed in pencil. Students are expected to show their work on all assignments, quizzes and tests.

Math homework assignments will appear on the Math assignment board in room 7-9. Each student is responsible for copying her/his own assignments into her/his own assignment notebook. Assignments on Homework Depot will be entered by student volunteers in each classroom, and every effort will be made to ensure accuracy, but errors on Homework Depot will not be an acceptable excuse for late or missing assignments.

In Math, grades will be weighted as follows:
Tests and quizzes 50%
Homework 25%
Projects and skill work 25%.
