St. Mary School 15th Annual Olympi-thon

When: Friday, May 27th, 2011 8:00-12:00.

Where: St. Mary School, parish center, and parking lot.

What: A day of fantastic fun & games. The students will be divided into 17 teams and competing at 17 different game stations. Each team will be co-captained by a teacher and 3 eighth-graders who will lead at least 2-3 students from each grade Kindergarten thru 7th Grade. The games planned are no more difficult then anything they do in gym class. Mostly gross motor skills: running, jumping, catching, throwing, etc. They will be geared toward the appropriate age.

What you need: Come dressed in the color of your team. Hot dog lunch will be provided so just bring 50 cents for soda.

What we need: Volunteers are needed to run the game stations, and help teachers supervise children. Without volunteers this event cannot be a success. If you can help please indicate so on the permission form, and be at the Parish Center by 8:00 for instructions. Volunteers must be Virtus trained, have passed a background check, completed the CANTS Form, signed the Arch Code of Conduct, and completed the application to volunteer.

Please return this form as quickly as possible. Students will not be allowed to participate without written authorization from their parent/guardian.
