The goals of The Wilderness Classroom Organization are to demonstrate the benefits of technology in education, appreciate wilderness by stressing environmental conservation, and to teach historical and cultural tolerance through recognizing diversity.
The Wilderness Classroom Organization strives to bring wilderness education and appreciation to adults, students, and teachers. School visits and other personal appearances (slideshows, lectures, presentations, teacher training) supplement the information gathered and posted on The Wilderness Classroom web site during our on-line learning adventures.

St. Mary students grades 3,4,5,7,and 8th are enrolled in the winter adventure. Dave, Saylox, Lichen and Eric hit the trail and take to the frozen waterways for the Bimaadagako Adventure and continue their exploration of the Canadian wilderness.
School Visits
School Visits play a key role in fulfilling the Wilderness Classroom's Mission. We visit as many schools as possible before, during, and after each adventure. We tailor our programs to meet each groups needs and interests.

Teacher Training
Student presentations are often combined with teacher training workshops. We have had great success getting teachers excited about integrating technology and the Internet into their classrooms. We tailor our workshops to the needs of your teachers and in 30 to 60 minutes everyone will be excited about implementing learning adventures and other forms of technology in their classrooms.
